A NOTE TO STUDENTS

Dear Student:

In all areas of life, it’s not what you know that counts—it’s what you can do with what you know. Think about it. You probably know how to respect others, respect yourself, and make the right decisions. But how well can you use these skills in the classroom? Or to put it another way, can you apply what you already know about yourself to real-life problems and challenges?

That is what Future Academy is all about—decision-making with a purpose. In our school you’ll learn important information about being a good person when no one is watching. By the time you complete our 3-month course you’ll learn a lot more about yourself. In short, you will be able to think “success.” This ability will help you make good decisions and avoid many mistakes and problems. Future Academy will help you make good decision all your life—at school, at home, and on the job.

Throughout the class you’ll find notes of encouragement. These friendly notes are there to make you stop and think. Sometimes they will remind you of how special you are. Sometimes they will remind you of something you already know. And sometimes they will give you tips, examples, and helpful hints at how to motivate yourself to be happy and successful.
